We're in the process of building a brand new, yet very cool and vintage looking/retro trailer. We anticipate having the our cool new trailer complete by the end of next month. She'll be very open and airy and the perfect conversation piece to have on-site serving up our delicious mason jar desserts for your Charleston wedding, birthday party of just because it's a Tuesday party.
Naked Wedding Cakes
We've been getting lots of requests to make wedding cakes to accompany jarred desserts. In the upcoming weeks we'll be adding naked wedding cakes to our menu. Please note, we'll only be doing naked wedding cakes to keep with our vintage bakery theme.
Once our new shabby chic trailer is complete, we'll be adding a bar service to our menu. Envision guests enjoying our tasty mason jar desserts while also sipping a champagne cocktail or a fab-u-luss Bellini.
Stay tuned for all the fun details. And Happy New Year everyone!!
Because I groove the beat of a different drummer - today's Thanksgiving dinner, or in my case lunch, was brought to you today by Ina Garten of the Barefoot Countessa. So easy peasy to make. Better still the house smells absolutely amazing after slow roasting the tomatoes.
Word of caution though - I had a hard time finding truffle butter in Charleston. One certainly can't find it at the Bi-Lo or Publix. And oddly Whole Foods in Mount Pleasant discontinued carrying truffle butter. Hunh? Fortunately though Williams Sonoma downtown on King Street and every one's favorite Southern Seasons in Mount Pleasant both carry it.
I'm not a fancy pastry chef nor did a train at an even fancier culinary school. I'm just a gal who bakes with love.
