While it's a given I love sugar (after all I do own a bakery), coconut is also a favorite of mine...not only in our fab-u-luss Southern Comfort Coconut Cake, but also as a decadent yet inexpensive beauty product. So when you're done with your Sweet Lulu's Bakery mason jar desserts - you can either recycle your mason jars for free dessert or...you can upcycle them and make this wonderful coconut and sugar body scrub for less than one little ole dollar. Ingredients Coconut & Sugar Body Scrub 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup coconut oil (do not melt) Blend together with a fork and spoon into our 8 oz wide mouth mason jar. For a more rich and almost creamy texture, you can also whip the hard coconut oil in a blender for 5-7 minutes. While the mason jar is glass, this wide mouth jar is the perfect size for the shower. The wide mouth and low profile of the jar allows you to easily get you hand inside. And with a little hammered spray paint on the lid - you can spruce up your jar or make several and gift to friends. | |
