FAQs
Reserve Your Date
We highly recommend you book a minimum of 3-6 months prior to the date as we have a tendency to sell out for certain dates like holidays, weekends and busy wedding season from March-October. We also highly recommend you purchase event insurance for unforeseen circumstances such as hurricanes and/or illness/reschedules due to COVID. Custom Order Cancellation Policy The process of making your custom edible work of art starts weeks in advance, from our initial conversations, scheduling, and ordering professional supplies needed. We are in high demand, and reserve your spot exclusively for you. As such, we required a $100 booking fee. The booking fee is non refundable, unless your oder is cancelled within 24 hours or your initial order/payment. In the event of cancellation, your refund will be as follows (minus $100 non-refundable booking fee) 90 days prior to the event day, you'll receive your payment in full 89 days or less, you'll receive half your payment 30 days or less, we will retain 100% of your payment NOTE: You are permitted one reschedule to a new date within 90 days of your original date. 100% of funds collected will be transferred to this new date. Set Up & Delivery Policy Set up includes designing and arranging your items on cake stands or platters that you or your event designer provide. So sorry but we do not rent cake plates. We will arrange and style the florals provided by your florist upon delivery or we can provide them for an additional fee. Wedding Cakes and/or Deliveries - Weddings notoriously take significantly longer time to set up as often we're waiting for a table, linen, proper placement, revisions, wedding planner approval, communication with event staff, etc. As such, our delivery fee is more to account for the additional time needed. Wedding deliveries are $50 for the first 25 miles, round trip, and $1.00 per mile every mile thereafter, round trip. Pick-Up Waiver - You are more than welcome to pick up your cake. However, once your cake leaves our shop, we are not responsible for any damage. Transporting cakes is a very delicate task and proper cake placement is key in preventing your cake from melting or becoming damaged in transit. For this reason, we chill all cakes for transport as it helps prevent any damage. The ONLY place for a cake to be placed in a car - is the front seat floorboard with the AC vents on the floorboard. What happens if it rains or there's a hurricane or other catastrophe event?
